We started off the day with a very good continental breakfast. After finishing we left for the Colosseum. The steps leading up to the upper levels are huge! The Vatican Museum was next. Since it was the last Sunday of the month, admission was free. The museum was very large, we eventually made it to the Sistine Chapel. For Lunch I had Italian pizza and water, which was not very good, for 10,000 lira. We headed to St. Peter's Basilica. This was a very neat place, one of my favorite buildings thus far. We went to the tombs where all of the Popes are buried. For dinner we had pasta with little bits of meat, then chicken with a cheddar colored sauce. For dessert it was chocolate with powdered sugar. After dinner we went to the Spanish Steps and enjoyed a cultural song or two. Trevi Fountain is the best fountain I've seen. The Pantheon was great too. At Piazza Navona we found some really good ice cream. It was a busy day!
