We arrived in Rome at about 2 P.M. The other group lost a bag, so we had to wait about 1-2 hours more. While transferring to the hotel we took a scenic route around the city. After checking in and taking a shower, me and three others took a walk to see a near by monument. We ate dinner at Taverne Navona? It was a 3 course meal. First, a really good pasta with broccoli sauce. Then we got roast beef slices with gravy and fried? potatoes, with a salad. Dessert was a chocolate and whipped cream type treat. After dinner we toured the city more by the coach. A little while after the bus tour our group went on a long walk to the Colosseum and the Arc di Constantino, we then proceeded to the Vittorlano and Foro Triano. Of course, we stopped to take pictures with some of the locals. It was quite a day! Oh yeah! There was also a protest outside the hotel about the Kosovo crisis.
