I started off the day with a sort of bland breakfast, toast, rolls, etc. We then headed to Pisa which was about 1-2 hours from Montecatini. We saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Baptistery, and the Cathedral. There was a mass for the Italian mafia in the Cathedral, so no pictures. It was about another hour to an Autogrille for Lunch. I had pasta, lasagna, and chocolate pudding with pineapple. 100 tunnels later we reached Nice. For dinner we had egg salad, veal?, and french fries, and a really really good chocolate pie. After dinner we went to a discotheque called Pam Pam and stayed about 30 minutes. We headed for another but got turned away. So we headed for Old Nice to search for a bathroom. We almost got turned away from a British pub with live music and stayed until closing, 15 minutes later. This pub was crowded and smoky, not to mention hot. Tomorrow we might have better luck with the clubs. BTW, the beach here is very rocky and not fun to walk on.
